Status indicator lamp
Indicates the machine’s status (printing, error occurred, etc).
Condition of Lamp Condition of machine
OFF
No print data has been received, and no errors have
occurred.
Lit steady Light blue Switched to Remote mode.
Flashing Light blue
Currently printing.
In test printing: printing a pattern stored inside the
machine.
Lit steady blue The print data has been received.(LOCAL)
Flashing red Error has occurred.
Lit steady red Error (SYSTEM HALT) has occurred.
Flashing yellow
When UV mode is set to "No print", it flashes in yellow
and "No print" appears in local.
Display
Displays the following items:
• Printer status
• Ink status
• Functions assigned to [FUNC1] to [FUNC3]
key
Changes over the functions of the
function keys ([FUNC1]–[FUNC3]).

Press this to set various functions or
to do test printing. The function
keys’ functions are changed each
time [SEL] key is pressed.
JOG key
Use these keys to shift the carriage or
the media in [LOCAL]. Also use them to
select an item of printing conditions.
key
Cancels the last input value or returns
the setting menu to the immediate
higher level of the hierarchy. Also, press
this to turn the power on or off. (Give it a
long press to turn the power off.)
key
Registers the last input value as the
setting value or goes to the immediate
lower level of the hierarchy.
• The [ENTER] key under the operation panel lights in blue when the power is turned on, and off when the power switch
is turned off.
• The maintenance process starts automatically even if you turn the power off.( P.4-18)
• Do not turn the main power switch( P.1-4) off.
• When Mimaki Remote Access is in use, "During remote control. [ent]" will appear on the display, and key operations
using the control panel of the unit will be disabled.
• Pressing the [ENTER] key when "During remote control. [ent]" is shown on the display will cancel the remote control
status and enable key operations on the monitoring system's control panel.
