Chapter 3 Setup
Setting the Printing Check
Select "ON" when you want to conduct nozzle check at
the start of online printing.

Press the (MENU) key in the local
mode.

Press to select "Nozzle Check",
then press the key
• The nozzle Check menu is displayed.

Press to select “Printing Check”,
and then press the key.

Press to select "ON", and then
press the key.
• The “Check Interval” setting screen will be
displayed.
• “Select OFF to not set nozzle check. Proceed to
Step 12.

Press the key.

Press to select setting item, and
then press the key.
Job: A nozzle check is conducted at the set
number of printing jobs.

Press to select setting value, and
then press the key.
SET UP: 0 to 100 Job

Press the key.
• The “Action” setting screen will be displayed.

Press the key.
• “CLEANING” will be selected.

Press to select cleaning type,
and then press the key.
Setting value: SOFT/ NORMAL/ HARD

Press to select retry count, and
then press the key.
Setting value: 0 to 3

end the setting.
Setting the NOZZLE RECOVERY
set this if you want to conduct automatic nozzle recovery
when nozzle missing is detected.

The number of nozzles registered for automatic
nozzle recovery can be checked with the
guidance.
Setting the Judgment Condition
Set the conditions for judging nozzle missing.

mode.

Press to select "Nozzle Check",
then press the key
• The nozzle Check menu is displayed.

Press to select “Judgement
Condition”, and then press the
key.

Press to select color, and then
press the key.

Press to set the number of
nozzles for judgment, and then press the
key.

Press the key several times to
end the setting.
• The type of color changes depending on
the ink set.
