Functional limitations
Different influences can lead to side devia-
tions when driving the stored distance cov-
ered in reverse. For example, this includes
the following factors:
– Steering movements when the vehicle
is stationary while storing the distance
covered.
– The speed is not adapted to the distance
covered.
– Certain road characteristics such as gra-
dients, inclines or slippery road surface.
– Greatly deviating conditions when stor-
ing and driving the route, for instance
other tires or changed ambient condi-
tions like weather.
