range from approx. 16 mph/25 km/h to
100 mph/160 km/h.
Operation via shift paddles
Principle
Depending on the vehicle's equipment, the
Coasting mode can be influenced with the
shift paddles.
Activating/deactivating coasting via
shift paddles
To activate coasting, operate the right shift
paddle.
To deactivate, actuate the left shift paddle.
System limits
In the following situations, coasting cannot
be used at all or only to a limited extent:
– When Active Cruise Control is on.
– Sensors are defective, dirty, or covered.
– Driving in the dynamic limit range and
on steep uphill/downhill grades.
– If the battery charge level is too low
temporarily, or if the electrical system
requires too much power.
Green Mode
Principle
Green Mode helps promote an efficient driv-
ing style.
In addition, the efficiency trainer displays
situation dependent notes to assist with an
efficient driving style.
The extended range achieved can be dis-
played as a bonus range on the Interaction
Unit.
Overview
The MINI Modes switch is located
on the switch cluster and labeled EX-
PERIENCE.
Configuring Green Mode
General information
To configure Green Mode, proceed as fol-
lows:
1. On the switch cluster, select
Green Mode using the MINI Modes
switch.
2. Tap the Settings icon on the Interac-
tion Unit.
3. Select the desired setting.
Resetting the settings
To reset the settings, proceed as follows:
1. On the switch cluster, select
Green Mode using the MINI Modes
switch.
2. Tap the Settings icon on the Interac-
tion Unit.
3. "Reset settings".
