Functions Conditions
A to F The settings can be made only when the copier is equipped with the
following options.
A Duplex Unit
B Duplexing Document Feeder
C Automatic Document Feeder
D 10-Bin Sorter
EStapleSorter
G The Cover mode cannot be selected when any of the following settings
has been made for Orig. Ö Copy. If any of them is selected after the Cover
Mode has been selected, it cancels the Cover Mode.

H You cannot select Book1 if you have previously loaded an original into the
Automatic/ Duplexing Document Feeder. If you load an original into the
Automatic/Duplexing Document Feeder after you have selected Book Ö 1,
the copier cancels Book Ö 1 and selects 1 Ö 1.
I The Sort-and-Staple mode can be used only when you load two or more
originals into the Automatic/Duplexing Document Feeder
J The Cover mode can be used only when the Automatic/Duplexing
Document Feeder and Multi Bypass Tray are used.
K The Interrupt mode takes precedence. The Interrupt mode cannot be used
if 1 Ö 2, 2 Ö 2, 1 Ö 2[2in1], or Book Ö 2 has been set in the copy-job
program previously called up.
L A zoom ratio or a copy-job program set in the Interrupt mode cannot be
stored in memory.
MBookÖ 1orBookÖ 2 can be combined with the Sort-and-Staple mode,
butno stapling action takes place. (The copier performsonly book copying
and sorting of copies, but not stapling.)
