U-4 Lightweight Original
Select the type of originals used on the ADF. Set “1” (Lightweight Original
mode ON) if originals lighter in weight than standard (weighing 40 to 50 g/
m

) are used with the ADF.
U-7 Non-Auto Shut OFF
This function can disable the Auto Shut OFF Function. Select whether to
enable (ON) or disable (OFF) the Non-Auto Shut OFF function. The initial
setting is “OFF” (disabled).
U-9 File Margin
Select whether the original has a file margin or not for the File Margin
mode. If “1” (original does not have a file margin”) is set and you attempt
to make a copy from an original which has a file margin on it, the copier is
very likely to produce a copy with a margin at an incorrect position.
