5. Commissioning
MiR Fleet PC Getting Started (en) 01/2021 - v.1.5 ©Copyright 2019-2021: Mobile Industrial Robots A/S. 47
When a robot is sent to a charging station or Staging position automatically, the default
mission for this is added to the mission queue and can be viewed in the interface like other
missions. If a new mission is sent to the robot, the charging or staging mission is aborted
immediately.
If an obstacle is blocking a charging station or Staging position that the robot has been sent
to, MiR Fleet sends the robot to another charging station or Staging position. If all stations
and positions are occupied, the robot remains idle wherever it stops.
If you have enabled both Auto charging and Auto staging, to make it work optimally, the
total number of charging stations and Staging positions must be equal to the number of
robots plus one, or there must be one charging station for each robot. This ensures that
there is a buffer to allow robots to change from a charging station to an available Staging
position.
If you want to change any other settings for Auto charging and Auto staging, see the
following descriptions of the parameters you can change:
Auto charging
Select True to enable MiRFleet to send robots to charging stations automatically when
they are low on power.
Minimum time at charging station
The minimum number of minutes a robot must charge at a charging station before it can
be released.
Minimum battery percentage for missions
The minimum battery percentage a robot needs before it can receive a new mission.
Minimum battery percentage for release
The minimum battery percentage a robot must be recharged to before it can be released
from a charging station.
Idle time
The minimum number of minutes a robot must be idle before it is sent to a charging
station, or to a Staging position if no charging stations are available.
Auto staging
Select True to enable MiRFleet to send robots to Staging positions automatically when
they are idle. Enabling this feature requires a Staging position for each robot.
