Automatic extension of mirrors
If the engine is stopped and started with the mirrors retracted,
the mirrors automatically extend for safety when the vehicle
speed reaches 30 km/h (19 mph).

OTE
If the mirrors are retracted manually or using the mirror
switch after the engine is started, they do not extend auto-
matically. Use the mirror switch to extend the mirrors.
Functions can be modified as stated below. Please consult
a MITSUBISHI MOTORS Authorised Service Point.
Automatically extend when the ignition switch is turned
to the “ON” position, and automatically retract when the
drivers door is opened after the ignition switch is turned
to the “OFF” position.
Deactivate the automatic extension function.
If the vehicle is equipped with the keyless entry system
or keyless operation system, automatically retract or
extend when all the doors and the tailgate are locked or
unlocked using the remote control switches.
If the vehicle is equipped with the keyless operation sys-
tem, automatically retract when all the doors and the tail
gate are locked using the door switch.
Heated mirror

To demist or defrost the outside rear-view mirrors, press the
rear window demister switch.
The indicator lamp (A) will illuminate while the demister is on.
The heater will be turned off automatically in about 20 min-
utes.
