Door ajar prevention system
When the ignition switch is in the “LOCK” (PUSH OFF) posi-
tion, if you try to lock the doors and tailgate by pressing one of
the “LOCK” switches when one of the doors or the tailgate is
not completely closed, a warning is issued with the “CHECK
DOORS” display and the buzzer buzzing for about 3 seconds
and you cannot lock the doors and tailgate.
Ignition switch turn-off reminder system
When the ignition switch is in any position other than the
“LOCK” (PUSH OFF) position, if you close all the doors and
the tailgate then try to lock the doors and tailgate by pressing
one of the “LOCK” switches, a warning is issued with the
“STEERING WHEEL LOCK” display and the buzzer buzzing
for about 3 seconds and you cannot lock the doors and tailgate.
