Replacing battery
Turn off the programmable controller
power supply.
Remove the CPU module from the
base unit.
Remove the battery holder at the
bottom of the CPU module.
Disconnect the battery connector,
and pull out the Q6BAT/Q7BAT
being used. *1
Q6BAT to be
replaced by Q7BAT.
Q7BAT to be
replaced by
Q7BAT.
Set the battery holder to the
CPU module.
Confirm
the type of the old
battery.
Connect the Q7BAT to the battery
connector of the CPU module, and
set it into the connector holder of the
battery holder.
Install the CPU module into the
base unit.
Turn on the programmable controller
power supply.
OFF
ON
Bit 0 is on.
Bit 0 is OFF.
Failure of CPU module battery
When disconnecting the battery
connector, hold the connector part being
careful not to damage the battery cable.
Disengage the catch on one side of
the battery holder to disassemble the
holder into two, and remove the
Q7BAT.
Insert the new Q7BAT into the holder
in the correct direction, and
reassemble the battery holder so that
the battery cable comes out of the
hole in the holder connection. (Push
the holder parts in until they click.)
Completed
Backup the program and the data.
