This test allows to verify the hydraulic sealing of
the chamber and circuits.
Carry out this test in case of vacuum lack
doubtful (initial vacuum time excessively long
during the sterilization cycle).
– Switch on the autoclave and push on
the ON/OFF key to enable the micro-
processor control,
– Close the door without any load in
the chamber;
– Press at the same time Material and
START keys; then release the keys;
The machine starts a vacuum phase and try to
reach an internal chamber vacuum of–0,7 bar.
Reached the value within the setup time, the
vacuum pump is stopped and the program veri-
fy that the vacuum does not change from–0,7
bar ± 0,1 bar for a next defined time.
The test lasts 10 minutes.
Expired this time, a leveling phase occurs and
the test end is signaled by the message END on
the Temperature display.
LED STER. flashes (before opening the door) if
the test has been performed positively.
