Defining data fields Data fields display variable values in the MI4 display.
In the example an actual value and a setpoint value
are transferred from the PLC and displayed on the
MI4. Make sure that the field
is entered in.
왘 Position the cursor in the display field and to the
right of the words “Actual value”. Now select

Data Field Type Numeric/ASCII› or click
on the “Numeric data fields” icon.
Numeric data field
The definition mask for numeric data fields will
appear.
