3 Example for Touch Operator Panel
Just as you did in the first example, here you will also
become acquainted with the functions used for
configuring an MI4 panel. The MI4 is connected to
the PLC via Suconet K.
In this example, a Touch Operator Panel with graphic
display capabilities is employed.
Configuring the work area
The connection diagram for the project shows all of
the devices, connection points and connecting
cables required for the second practice example. In
place of the MI4-471-TC1 you could equally use a
different Touch Operator Panel from the MI4 series.
Take note, however, of the varying display sizes of
the panels (5.6“, 9.5“, 10.4“, 12.1“ and 15“). You will
need the PS4 controller if you want to test the project
via Suconet K.
