Testing the project Test the functions of Page 1. In the upper left corner
of the display appear the date and time of the MI4.
You can use the left-hand setpoint potentiometer of
the PLC to change the actual value within the range
of 0 to 1023.
Touch the “Enter setpoint” touch cell to display the
numeric keyboard. You can now input a setpoint
value within the limits of 0 to 255. This will be
displayed in numeric form in the display and in binary
coded form at the output LEDs of the PLC (QB 0).

The complete practice project consists of two pages.
Define a touch cell on page 1 which you can use to
change to page 2.
왘 Switch to the MI4 Configurator.
왘 Select Generic Command Buttons in the Touch
Toolbox.
The Generic Command Button Properties definition
window will open.
왘 In the General register click on Windows under
the Looks section and on Command Macro under
the Functionality section.
왘 Click on the “Configure function” button.
The dialog box for defining macro commands will
open.
