WARNING: Never operate winch with
brush chipper detached from towing
vehicle. Load may move brush chipper
or pull tongue off of support blocking.
WARNING: Extreme care should be
taken when fastening winch cable to
log. Failure to fasten cable correctly
could result in cable coming undone
and flying back at operator causing
serious injury or flying into infeed and
becoming entangled in feed system
causing damage to your machine. Do
not allow anyone to stand between
the load and the winch during winch
operation.
Position brush chipper for best alignment
of winch inlet, feed table, and load.

vehicle wheels to prevent rolling or pull-
ing a vehicle with the winch.

pull handle (B) down.
You are now able to go to the hook
and pull out as much of the cable as is
required,when enough cable has been
pulled out, push handle (B) up.
Attach your cable to log.
Activate valve bank handle to retract
winch cable to draw log towards the in-
feed chute.
Continue pulling limb forward until front of
limb rests on the infeed chute.
WARNING: Unstable limb may fall off
infeed chute. Serious injury may oc-
cur if struck. Stabilize limb on infeed
chute before repositioning chain.
Follow directions on item #3 to retract
cable loose enough to remove cable from
limb. Furthur extend cable and securely
fasten chain furthur down the limb. Re
-
tract cable to move limb forward into feed
rollers. Activate feed control bar to for-
ward postion to begin feeding end of log
into chipper. Position feed control bar into
neutral position, unfasten winch cable
and retract fully, continue feeding log into
