SAFETY
DANGER indicates an imminently hazardous situation which,
if not avoided, will result in serious injury or death. The sign will
have the color combination of red and white.
WARNING indicates a potentially hazardous situation, which
if not avoided, could result in serious injury or death. The sign
will have the color combination of orange and black.
CAUTION indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if
not avoided, may result in minor or moderate injury. The sign
will appear on the machine with the color combination of yellow
and black.
This is the safety alert symbol. It is used to alert you to potential personal injury
hazards. Obey all messages that follow this symbol to avoid serious injury or
death.
THINK SAFETY:
Safety is a combination of operator common sense and alertness at all
times when the machine is being operated or serviced.
OBSERVE SAFETY SIGNS AND MESSAGES
OBSERVE "CAUTION" MESSAGES
Messages labeled "CAUTION" (without the alert symbol) will appear in your operator's
manual to provide specic instructions for performing adjustments, services etc. If these
instructions are not followed, it could result in damage to the machine.
DO NOT MODIFY MACHINE
Any modication to the machine must be approved by Morbark. Unauthorized modications
to the machine may impair the function and/or safety and affect machine life or cause seri-
ous injury or death.
BEFORE OPERATING
Read and understand the operator's manual, instructions and safety signs on the machine
and all controls affecting machine functions.
