CHAPTER 7 EMAIL
Introduction
Use the Email application to send and receive emails from Post Office Protocol version 3 (POP3), internet
message access protocol (IMAP) and Microsoft Exchange accounts.
Opening Email
To open Email, touch > Email. Email opens to the last screen view or it displays the contents of the Inbox
(one email account) or the Accounts screen (multiple accounts).
If it is the first time opening Email, the setup wizard opens to assist adding an email account. See Adding an
Email Account on page 7-5.
Accounts Screen
The Accounts screen displays the Combined Inbox and each email account as well as Starred, Draft or
Unsent folders.

Each folder and account on the Accounts screen displays the number of unread messages in green or the total
number of messages in gray.
Touch to open a list of starred messages
Touch a folder icon to view a list of account’s
folders
Checkmark indicates the default account
Touch account to view its Inbox
