Low Battery Indication
The radio indicates low battery level by playing an audible alert when the battery charge falls to a
preset level. The low battery alert can be programmed to be 5, 10, or 20 % of remaining capacity by
your service provider. The default setting is 5 %. The service provider also configures how frequently
the alert repeats.
The service provider can also configure the radio to indicate low battery level at 20 %. Every time the
battery discharges to the targeted battery level, your radio screen displays Battery < 20%. This pop-
up message is shown only once. The pop-up message is also shown when the battery level is at 20 %
or lower upon radio power-up.
