Setting Call-Out Availability
Procedure:
1 From the home screen, press the Menu key.
2 From the home screen, press the Menu/OK key.
3 Select Messages→Call-Out Availability.
4 Select one of the following options:
• Available
• Not available

Favorite Contacts
This menu stores your favorite contacts from the Contacts menu. A contact that has multiple numbers
is listed out as multiple entries in the My Contacts menu. Each entry is differentiated by the Contact
Type icons (see Table 27: Contact Types on page 90 for the icon types).
4.5.1
Dialing through the Favorite Contacts List
Procedure:
1 From the home screen, press the Menu/OK key.
2 Select My Contacts.
3 To highlight the required contact, use Up and Down Navigation keys.
NOTICE: The type icon in front of the contact denotes the contact number type.
4 To initiate a simplex call, press the PTT button. Otherwise use the Menu/OK key to initiate a
duplex call.

Contacts
This menu stores all your contact numbers. This feature is only available when enabled by your service
provider. This menu stores all your contact numbers pre-set by your service provider.
Each contact entry requires the following information:
Name
If you store more than one number to one contact, this entry is required.
