• Open the cap of the overow tank;
• Add coolant. It is important to add the correct type of coolant as stated in the engine manual.
• Make sure to reinstall and secure the cap of the overow tank.
9.9.3 Check separator filter
To check the separator filter, proceed as follows:
1) Put the machine in “safety state” (see par. 9.2).
2) Wait until the engine has cooled down.
3) Open the engine cover (see par. 9.4).
4) Inspect the separator filter (FIG. 48 - Ref. 1) and check if there’s water (FIG. 48 - Ref. 4) at the bottom of the filter bowl.
5) If case of presence of water, proceed as follows:
• Close the tap of the fuel/water separator (FIG. 48 - Ref. 2).
• Loosen the ring (FIG. 48 - Ref. 3). It may be necessary to use a wrench.
• Remove the lter bowl and drain any accumulated water.
• To reinstall the lter bowl.
• Open the tap (FIG. 48 - Ref. 2).
• Check for any leaks of fuel.
ATTENTION
THE DRAINED WATER AND FUEL MUST BE DISPOSED OF IN ACCORDANCE TO THE LAWS IN FORCE IN THE COUNTRY WHERE
THE MACHINE IS USED.
