9.9.4 Air filter check
To check the air filter, proceed as follows:
1) Put the machine in “safety state” (see par. 9.2).
2) Wait until the engine has cooled down.
3) Open the engine cover (see par. 9.4).
4) Unhook the retaining clips and remove the end cap (FIG. 49 - Ref. 1).
5) Check the air cleaner element (FIG. 49 - Ref. 2), if cleaning is needed do it with low pressure air jets or replace with new genuine
spare part.
6) Reinstall the air cleaner element in the air filter.
7) Close the end cap and secure the retaining clips.
