Function Description Settings
e-mail Gateway You can transmit documents to an e-mail gateway (fax
server).
For details, see “Setting an e-mail gateway” (page 2-32).
Setting
You can specify the default setting.
Prefix
Enter the prefix for the local part of the e-mail address.
Up to 32 characters can be entered.
Suffix
Enter the suffix for the local part of the e-mail address.
Up to 48 characters can be entered.
File Format
You can select the file format.

You can specify the image encoding method.
