3.4 Loading media
This section explains how to load and set media, and settings for each media type.
• For VJ-2638, refer to the operation manual of Heavy take-up unit.

ROM.
• Refer to the following for details about handling media.
4.2 Media
• For types and details of the recommended media, contact your local MUTOH dealer.
3.4.1 Loading roll media
This section describes the procedure to load the roll media.
Put the roll media in the center of the printer.
• For VJ-2638, refer to the operation manual of Heavy-Duty take-up unit.

ROM.
• The following roll media can be loaded to VJ-1638X/1938WX/1638WX.
• Outer diameter: 150mm or less
• Media tube diameter: two inches or three inches
• Weight: 30kg or less
• Width: (VJ-1638X/1638WX)1,625 mm or less. (VJ-1938WX) 1,910 mm or less.
• Thickness: 2.8mm or less
