8. Replace the adapter cover and reattach the screw.
9. Connect the opposite end of the cable to the recording device or audio output.
10. Any cable connected to the ADA adaptor must pass
two times (one turn) through the ferrite sleeve supplied
to comply with EMC requirements. The ferrite must be
located, on the cable, as near as possible to the ADA
adaptor.
11. Position the adapter with the connector positioned as shown below.

12. Hook the two plastic prongs into the bottom of the phone.
13. Push the connector into place. The top latch on the top of the adapter should lock into place
when it is properly positioned.
14. Plug the line cord back into the system phone.
