2. Remove the battery cover as follows:
■ Locate the battery cover latch and slide it towards the
front of the system.
■ Slide the cover about half an inch away from the
system to align the cover tabs and notches.
■ Lift the cover up and away from the system.

3. Locate the notch on the battery. Placing your fingers in
the notch, lift the battery out of the system.

CAUTION
Always lift the battery out of the system by the
notched end. Failure to do so can damage the bat-
tery terminals.
