Fans for the 40-port PoE+ and PoE++ models
The following table describes the thresholds and operational properties of the fans for
the 40-port PoE+ and PoE++ models. (The temperatures in Fahrenheit are rounded
down.)

Example of intelligent fan operation:
If the fans of model M4250-40G8F-PoE+ operate in Off mode and either the temperature
detected by the temperature sensor 2 exceeds 122F (50C) or the PoE budget exceeds
30W, the switch automatically places the fans in Quiet mode.
