DESCRIPTION
NetMan plus is a device that allows UPS management through a LAN (Local Area Network); the
accessory supports all the main network protocols (SNMP, TCP/IP, HTTP and so on) and is
compatible with Ethernet 10/100Mbps IPv4/6 networks. The UPS can therefore be integrated
easily into medium and large-sized networks.
NetMan plus can manage a modem for remote support or, alternatively, makes available an RS-
232 serial line for the local monitoring of the UPS.
The device also records UPS values and events in the history log archive.
NetMan 101 plus is an accessory which is external to the UPS and connected to it by serial cable;
NetMan 102 plus is an expansion card which is inserted in the UPS slot (for the models that
support it) as shown in the figure below. The two products have the same functionalities and the
description in this manual is valid for both products (unless otherwise specified).
