Notes on Face Priority
If
no
face
is
detected
when
the
shutter-release
button
is
pressed halfway in Portrait
or
Night
portrait
scene mode,
the
camera will focus
on
the
subject
in
the center focus area,
The camera may be unable
to
detect
faces
in
the
following
situations:
- When faces are partially
hidden
by sunglasses or
other
obstructions
- When faces take
up
too
much
or
too
little
of
the
frame
- When
the
subject
is
not
looking directly at the camera

camera focuses,

Specify
whether
or
not
the distortion
is
corrected. Enabling distortion control
reduces the
size
of
the
frame,

Distortion at frame peripheries

corrected.

(default setting)
No distortion correction performed,
At settings
other
than Off,
the
icon for the current setting
is
displayed in
the
monitor
