Macro Mode
Macro mode is used for taking pictures of objects as close as 9 cm (3.6 in.). Note
that the flash may be unable to light entire subject at distances of less than 60 cm
(2 ft.).
, Tap macro mode control.
The macro menu is displayed.
2 Tap ON.
When ~ is tapped, the menu will close and the
monitor display will return to shooting mode
without changing the macro mode setting.
3 Tap 11 or ~ to frame the picture.
The camera can focus at a distance of 9 cm (3.6
in.) at the zoom position at which the zoom
indicator glows

In macro mode, the camera automatically focuses continuously uritil focus and exposure are locked
by pressing the shutter-release button halfway

The macro mode setting applied in 0 (auto) mode is stored in the camera's memory even after the
camera is turned off, and reapplied the next time 0 (auto) mode is selected.
