When

tapped,
the
menu
will close and

monitor
display will return

shooting
mode
without
changing
the
self-timer setting.
3 Frame the picture
and
press
the
shutter-release button halfway.
Focus and exposure
Will
be
set.
The camera
is
equipped
with
a
two-
or ten-second
timer
for self-portraits. This
feature
is
useful for reducing the effects
of
camera shake
that
occurs
when
pressing
the
shutter-release
button.
When using the self-timer,
use
of
a
tripod
is
recommended. Turn vibration
reduction

off
when
using a tripod.

self-timer control.

the shutter-release button

rest
of the way down.
The self-timer starts and the
number
of
seconds remaining until
the
shutter
is
released

monitor.
The
self-timer
lamp
will blink. The
lamp
stops
blinking one second before

shutter
is
released.
When the shutter

released,
the
self-
timer
will be set
to
OFF

timer
before a picture
