Switch to the desired objective
and view the specimen.
• Refocus.
• Use the ND filter for the fluorescence
attachment to adjust brightness.
• Adjust the field diaphragm so that it extends
slightly beyond the field of view.
• When using an oil immersion type objective,
apply immersion oil between the specimen
and the objective.

To return to bright-field
microscopy.
• Close the shutter of the fluorescence
attachment and block the light emitted by the
mercury lamp.
• Turn on the microscope power switch to turn
on the diascopic light source.
• Turn the fluorescent cube switching knob and
move the position without a fluorescent cube
into the optical path.
