Switching the Optical Path of the Tube
12.1
Optical Path Switching of the Motorized Quadrocular Tilting Tube
The motorized quadrocular tilting tube has three optical paths,
directed to the binocular, tube adapter, and rear port. Pressing
an optical path button directs 100% of the light to the
corresponding optical path. When a button is pressed, it will light
up to indicate the selected optical path. The B/F/R optical path
switch on the ergo controller can also be used to switch the
optical path. (See “20 Using the Ergo Controller”.)

Interlocked operation of optical path switching
The optical path switching of the motorized quadrocular tilting tube can be interlocked when pressing the [CAPTURE]
button to capture an image. See “19.2 Interlocking Function” for details on the conditions for interlocking and
interlocked operations.
Interlocking setting along with the optical path switching
If the field diaphragm has already been preset when the optical path switching of the motorized quadrocular tilting tube
is performed, “Interlock/Do not interlock” setting is available for the automatic adjustment of the field diaphragm.
“Do not interlock” is set by factory default.
