1-101 Solution Solenoid Short
Description Solution solenoid - too much current
Setting
Conditions
Amp Draw is higher than 5 Amps
When Monitored
Always
Possible Causes
• Shorted Solution Solenoid
• Control wire shorted to power
Initial Action None
Troubleshooting Steps
Disconnect the solution solenoid and check if the error persists.
− If the error persists, the control wire is shorted to battery positive power. Repair or replace the
harness.
− If the error clears, replace the solenoid.

Description Beacon - too much current

Amp Draw is higher than 5 Amps

Possible Causes
• Shorted beacon
• Control wire shorted to power
Initial Action None
Troubleshooting Steps
Disconnect the beacon and check if the error persists.
− If the error persists, the control wire is shorted to battery positive power. Repair or replace the
harness.
− If the error clears, replace the beacon.

• Shorted backup alarm
• Control wire shorted to power
Initial Action None
Troubleshooting Steps
Disconnect the backup alarm and check if the error persists.
− If the error persists, the control wire is shorted to battery positive power. Repair or replace the
harness.
− If the error clears, replace the alarm.
