15 Cleaning and Care
15.1 Instructions for cleaning
Attention
Always disconnect the power supply before cleaning.
Î Never use cleaning agents that are aggressive, contain chlorine or solvents, or are
rough or abrasive.
15.2 Sterilising and disinfecting

No sterilising or disinfecting is required.
15.3 Cleaning
Attention
When cleaning the illuminated slit, do not use a cloth or other cleaning agents.
Î Carefully clean the centre of the illuminated slit with purified compressed air.
Attention
The optical components illuminating the slit, and the lens in front of the camera are pre-
cision parts and sensitive to pressure. The surfaces of these components are susceptible
to scratching.
Î Clean the lens in front of the camera using a dry, lint-free cloth.
Î It is best to clean the housing surfaces with a soft cloth and an antistatic cleaning
agent.
Î Wipe any residual particles using a mixture containing equal parts of spirits and dis-
tilled water, and add a dash of household washing up liquid.
