Display on the operator panel Meaning Measures
Magenta Toner Not Installed A magenta toner cartridge is
not installed in the printer, or an
unrecognized magenta toner
cartridge is installed.
Install a genuine magenta toner
cartridge.
Non Genuine Magenta Toner An unrecognized magenta toner
cartridge is installed.
Install a genuine magenta toner
cartridge.
Magenta Toner Empty Magenta toner has run out, or
genuine magenta toner is not used.
Install a new genuine magenta toner
cartridge.
Magenta Toner Low Magenta toner is running out. Prepare a new magenta toner
cartridge but not necessary to replace
it now.
Magenta Toner Sensor Error An abnormal condition has occurred
in the magenta toner sensor.
Remove the magenta toner cartridge
and reinstall it.
Contact the customer support center
if the error remains.
Magenta Image Drum Near Life The life of the magenta image drum
is about to end.
Prepare a new magenta image drum
cartridge but not necessary to replace
it now.
Magenta Image Drum Life The magenta image drum cartridge
has reached the end of its life, so it
must be replaced with a new one.
Replace it with a new magenta image
drum cartridge.
MPTray Lift Up Error The printer cannot feed paper from
the multi-purpose tray.
Place paper into the multi-purpose
tray correctly.
Printing(MPTray) The printer is printing on paper by
feeding it from the multi-purpose tray.

MPTray Empty There is no paper in the multi-
purpose tray.
Load paper into the multi-purpose
tray.
MPTray Overfilled Too much paper is loaded into the
multi-purpose tray.
Remove some paper from the multi-
purpose tray.
MPTray Near End The multi-purpose tray is running out
of paper.
Prepare paper to load into the multi-
purpose tray.

Too Thick
The printer cannot staple or punch

Press the ONLINE button to clear the
error message.
