Status Message Help Message
Shows the printer is low on toner. The printer being
low on toner with Low Toner set to Stop blinks its
Attn LED, and placed off-line. Pressing ON-LNE
switch makes such printer continue printing until
Toner Empty occurs. The Attn LED of the printer
being low on toner with NearLifeLED set to Disable
does not light.

Shows the toner cartridge of the printer is that
manufactured by a certified third party.

–
Shows something unusual occurred at the toner
sensor of the printer.

Error
–
Shows a value sensor-output with no paper loaded
is outside its specification. The printer with the error
prints with Medium set for Media Weight.
Non Paper Sense Error
–
Shows a sensor-output difference value is outside
its specification (weight is beyond its recognition
limit). The printer with the error prints with Medium
set for Media Weight.
Paper Sense Error
–
Shows the PostScript interpreter of the printer
detected an error in it and the printer accepts and
discards data received thereafter. At completion
of the reception of a job during which the error
occurred, the error is automatically removed. The
factor of the error is that any of the following events
is detected:
- The job contains grammatical error(s); and
- The job contains complicated pates and
exhausted volatile memory.
