Displaying Scale on the Screen
You can set the pattern to display on the live or freeze screen.
When “PRINT SCREEN ON/OFF” is set to “ON”, the pattern is registered to the still image.
(Patterns cannot be recorded to a movie.)
• Select a fixed pattern (“PATTERN 1” to “PATTERN 3”) or the “ORIGINAL PATTERN” (if it has
been created in advance).
• For the fixed patterns, you can select a color for the pattern from the color selection screen by
touching the color selection button.
• To cancel scale display, select “NO PATTERN DISPLAY” and touch the [ENTER] button.
To create a hand-drawn pattern
You can create a hand-drawn pattern.
• Select “ORIGINAL PATTERN” and touch the Create button. A “ORIGINAL PATTERN
CREATION” screen appears. Set the color and line width, drag to draw a pattern on the screen,
and touch the [ENTER] button to register the pattern.
Delete all : Deletes all patterns you have created
Clear : Erases the part that you have dragged
Line Width Selection : Sets the width of the line
Color Selection : Sets the color of the line
• To delete a free-drawing pattern you have created, touch the Delete button, followed by [YES].

The free-drawing patterns you have created are stored in the “/FDPATTERN/FDPATTERN.BMP”
format inside the SD card.
