• The settings for the selected observation mode are not retained after the light
source is turned OFF. The light source is always in the normal light observation
mode at the moment it is turned ON.
• When more than one of the available observation mode indicators are lighting up,
the observation mode can be changed by pressing the observation mode button
even if the observation mode indicator
“ON” is lighting up.
• Optical-digital observation can also be activated via the endoscope switches when
this function has been activated in the video system center.
• The available observation modes are interlocked with the video system center.
3 Press the observation mode button: the
observation mode indicator “ON” lights up, and
the observation mode changes to the
optical-digital observation indicated by the
observation mode selection indicator.

4 Press the observation mode button again: the observation mode indicator “STBY”
lights up, and the observation mode changes to the normal observation mode.
