Over-insufflating the lumen may cause patient pain, injury, bleeding, gas embolism,
and/or perforation.
5.9 Air/water feeding
1 Confirm that the airflow indicator “ON” lights up.
If not, press the airflow button. The airflow
indicator “ON” lights up to indicate that air is
being fed to the endoscope.

2 Press the airflow regulator button to set the
airflow regulator according to the examination
technique and/or patient condition. Each press
of the button changes the airflow regulator
indicators between L (Low), M (Medium), and H
(High).
