5 Basic operation
Recording a moving image
1 While a live image is displayed, press the [FRZ/REC] button.
After a still image is recorded, the moving image recording confirmation window will appear.
2 Select "YES" and then short-press the [ENT/MENU] button.
This starts moving image recording. The USB flash drive indicator flashes on the LCD monitor
while moving image recording is in progress.
If you select [NO] in the moving image confirmation window, only the still image is recorded but
the moving image is not recorded.
3 To stop moving image recording, short-press the [FRZ/REC] button.
When recording of a moving image is complete, the flashing USB flash drive indicator
disappears from the screen.
NOTE
Do not remove the USB flash drive while recording a moving image. Doing so will cause moving image
recording to stop and an error message to appear on the display.
Recording stops automatically whenever the USB flash drive becomes full or when the file size reaches 4
GB. An empty 1 GB USB flash drive has enough capacity to record approximately 30 minutes.
