5.5 Setup of the
“PRINTER SETUP”
Menu
This menu is used in the overall setups of this
instrument.
To display the “PRINTER SETUP” menu

Press the “MENU” button to display the menu.

Press “v” or “V” to select “PRINTER SETUP,”
and press the “ENTER” button.

Press “b” or “B” to display the “PRINTER
SETUP” menu (see Figure 5.5).

Setting “PRINT QTY”
This item is used to set the number of prints.
“PRINT QTY” can also be set by pressing “PRINT
QTY” on the front panel (see on page 40). Changing
either setup affects the setups of both this item and the
button.

Press “v” or “V” to select “PRINT QTY,” and press
the “ENTER” button.

Press “v” or “V” to select between “1” to “10,” and
press the “ENTER” button.
Setting “SD GAMMA”
When the SDTV signal is used as the input video signal
to this instrument and the picture to be printed contains
a large black or white area, this item is used to adjust the
black or white area so that it can be printed in details.

Press “v” or “V” to select “SD GAMMA,” and
press the “ENTER” button.

Press “v” or “V” to select from among “SOFT,”
“NORMAL” and “HARD,” and press the
“ENTER” button.
Setting “HD GAMMA”
If an HDTV signal is input to this instrument and the
printed picture contains a large black or white area, this
item is used to adjust the black or white area so that it
can be printed in details.
“HD GAMMA” can also be set in the “HDTV SETUP”
menu (see page 63). Changing the setup of either item
affects the setups of both items.

Setting “PRN SPEED”
This item is used to set the print speed.

Press “v” or “V” to select “PRN SPEED,” and
press the “ENTER” button.

Press “v” or “V” to select either “NORMAL” or
“HIGH,” and press the “ENTER” button.
SOFT : The picture to be printed contains a large
white area.
NORMAL : Printing an ordinary picture.
HARD : The picture to be printed contains a large
black area.
SOFT : The picture to be printed contains a large
white area.
NORMAL : Printing an ordinary picture.
HARD : The picture to be printed contains a large
black area.
NORMAL : Prints at normal speed. (Printing takes
approximately 10 seconds longer than when
“HIGH” print speed is selected.)
HIGH : Prints at high speed.
