• If nothing is displayed at Received Data when data is read with the bar
code reader, there is a communications fault: check the communications
cables and settings.
Check Method
Check communications with the serial ports by following the menu operation
from the System Menu shown below.
After confirming the result of the check, press Quit. The NT31/NT31C returns
to the I/F CHECK MENU screen.
Select Maintenance Mode.
Select I/O Check.
Select I/F Check.

Select Comm. Port A or Comm. Port B.
