[Restrictions]
S A maximum combined total of 256 of the following elements can be registered
for one screen. (Same for window screen) Even in the case of an overlapping
screen with eight child screens, it is only possible to register numeral setting in-
put fields on one of the child screens.
Numeral setting input field (numeric key type),
Numeral setting input field (thumbwheel type)
There is no restriction on the number of input fields that can be registered for one
screen data file: any number can be registered as long as the data file capacity is
not exceeded. However, if a large number ofelements areregistered, checkthat
the restrictions on element display are complied with by referring to “Display Re-
strictions” (page 644).
S It is not possible to set input from more than one numeral setting input field (nu-
meric key type or thumbwheel type) on the same screen to one numeral memory
table.
In cases where values at the host must be input both in decimal and hexadeci-
mal, set numeral input into separate numeral memory tables, both allocated to
the same area.
S The range of numeric values that can be input depends on the “Storage Type”
(“BCD” or “Binary”) of the numeral memory table, and the “Display Type” (“Deci-
mal” or “Hexadecimal”), and “Display Sign” settings made for the numeral set-
ting input field. For details, refer to 7-3-1 “Numeral Memory Tables” (page 284).
S It is not possibleto register multiple input fields (regardless of the type of numeric
key or thumbwheel) which refer to the same numeral table entry on the same
screen.
