2-1-1 EtherCAT Network Configuration
The EtherCAT network configuration consists of an NX-series NX1P2 CPU Unit, an End Cover, and the
EtherCAT slaves.
You use the built-in EtherCAT port on the NX-series NX1P2 CPU Unit to connect EtherCAT slaves.
For information on the system configuration of an EtherCAT network, refer to the NJ/NX-series CPU
Unit Built-in EtherCAT Port User’s Manual (Cat. No. W505).
Refer to 2-1-2 NX Unit Configuration on page 2-4 for information on the CPU Unit and End Cover.
