Connection for Multi-Room Remote Control
The following instructions apply only to U.S. or Canada model (Xantech ™ Multiple-Room systems)
Do noi plug in the power cord until all connections have been made. When making connections ©through©, be sure to connect
the iinit-s as shown in the connection diagram below. Do not make a n)i.stake when connecting the units.
A. Connecting components equipped with OnkyoRl jacks
Components mounted in a rack should be connected as shown below to cmible remote control operation.
1. Set up the components (a) displaying
Onkyo’s RI jack.
2. Connect the sub room speaker
cables to the speaker B terminal on
lheTX-8511.(@)
3. Install Connecting Block in the main
room, then connect it to the TX-8511.

4. Install Remote .Sensor in the sub-
room, then connect it to the Connect¬
ing Block in the main room, ((f))
B. Connecting components not equipped with OnkyoRl jacks
1. Connect the components (b) to the
TX-8511.
2. Make the connections descrihed ahovc
in steps 2 through 4 of.section A.
3. Install ICmitter (c) so that its sensor is
directed toward these components,
then connect it to the T,\'-8511. (@)

4. Connect the components (d) to the
TX-8511.
5. Install another 1‘imitter (e) so that its
.sensor is directed toward the.se compo¬
nents, then connect it to the Connect¬
ing Block, ((f))
