ANTILOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS)
The symbol illuminates yellow for a
few seconds after the ignition is switched
on.
The system is ready for operation when
the control indicator extinguishes.
If the control indicator does not
extinguish after a few seconds, or if it
illuminates while driving, there is a fault
in the ABS. The brake system remains
operational but without ABS regulation.

GEAR SHIFTING
Manual transmission
▲ or ▼ with the number of a higher or
lower gear is indicated, when upshifting
or downshifting is recommended for fuel
saving reasons.
Automatic transmission
manual mode
On vehicles with automatic transmission,
the system is only active in manual
mode.

illuminates or flashes yellow.

LECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL
AND ANTI-SLIP REGULATOR
illuminates or flashes yellow.
Illuminates
A fault in the system is present.
Continued driving is possible. Driving
stability, however, may deteriorate
depending on road surface conditions.
Have the cause of the fault remedied by
a workshop.
After reconnecting the vehicle battery,
(e.g. after maintenance work),
is
illuminated for several seconds. After this
time period,
extinguishes. This is a
normal procedure, the vehicle does not
need any assistance.
Flashes
The system is actively engaged.
Engine output may be reduced and the
vehicle may be braked automatically to a
small degree.
