5.2 Placement conditions for the
analyser
The analyser must be placed in an air conditioned and heated instrument cabinet. One 230
V (115 V), 10 A socket must be located in the proximity of the analyser cabinet. If there
are any doubts that the 230 V (115V) is not free from surges, the analyser has to be pro-
tected with a surge suppressor or an Uninterruptible Power Source UPS. If an UPS is used
together with a data logger card in the analyzer, the data logger must be grounded sepa-
rately.
The ambient temperature around the analyser must be kept between 18 and 24 °C (65 - 75
°F).
The analyser and other instrument in the climate controlled cabinet must be fused sepa-
rately from the air conditioning/heating.
5.3 Flanges and PW061 cassettes
When mounting the flanges to the stack/duct, use the port installation kit described in
section 1.3. See also the flange drawings no. 1, 2 and 3 in section 9.
1. Measure and mark where the flanges should be welded on to the stack/duct.
2. Cut the holes for both the emitter and the receiver.
3. Start with the emitter flange. Tack weld the flange to the stack, so that it can be
moved if necessary.
4. Tack weld the receiver flange to the stack/duct.
5. By looking from the receiver side towards the emitter side, it’s now possible to aim
the two sides towards each other. When the flanges are pointing towards each other
both flanges should be welded.
6. Install the PW061 purge air cassettes on the pipe. The PW061 cassettes are de-
scribed in section 2.2.
WARNING: The tube connectors are designed for 6 mm tube outer diameter as stand-
ard. 1/4” tube outer diameter has to be special ordered. The connecting nuts should be
Swagelok SS-402-1.
IMPORTANT: Make sure that the receiver flange is mounted symmetrical to a vertical
line, if a support bracket is used for the receiver RE060AUTOL.
