5. Choose Output => Destinations. Define output sources (subunits), corresponding
to the number of IOMan output channels. (1 subunit = 16 channels).
6. From the IO256 Main menu choose Program. The question “Program logger? [Y/
N]” is displayed. Type [Y] to program the IO256.
To simplify trouble shooting if there are any communication errors, it is recommended to
use a communication status flags.
7. Choose Input => No. of channels. Add 1 channel (increase the number of channels
by 1).
8. Choose Input => Channel setup and select Channel type = “com status X” for
the new channel. X represents the communication unit using the IOMan protocol.
Select Name = “IOMan”.
A.3 Load the settings from the IOMan
modules
1. Load the settings for the IOMan modules (both inputs and outputs).
2. Choose Program. The question “Program logger? [Y/N]” is displayed. Type [Y] to
program the IO256.
A.4 Logg the calibration cell
temperature
The calibration cell temperature and other signals logged by the IOMan modules must be
defined in the IO256 input.
1. Enter the IO256 software. Choose Input => Channel setup. For the channel con-
nected select Type = “Pt100”, Input range = “direct”, Scaled range = “direct”
and Name = “celltemp”.
2. Repeat step 1 for the other input signals.
A.5 Configuration of the CU007
Check so that the mirror and CU007 can be operated through the software as well:
1. Go to the analyzer root menu. Press [F1] for the Analyzer installation menu
2. Press [F3] Calibration setup.
