7.1.1 Splitting multiplexers, MX10nL
7.1.2 Demultiplexers, MXn01L
7.2 Switching multiplexers, SX10nL
A switching multiplexer can be used when a LD500 analyser is used for several paths and
a splitting multiplexer causes an unacceptable loss of light. There are seven different types
of switches, SX10nL, where n stands for the number of outputs, n = 2, 3, ..., 8.
The switch is made to fit one or more wavelength regions. See markings on the box or in
the test protocol which laser heads the switch supports.
On the front side of the switch there are:
A female 9 pin Dsub connector
8 DIP switches
12 function LED´s
A power cable 230/115 V.
