On the back side of the switch there are fibre connectors, the input from the LD500 analys-
er and 2-8 connectors for the outgoing fibres, depending on model.

7.2.2 The DIP switches
The eight DIP swithes have to be set before a communication can be established. DIP
switches 1-3 set the baud rate and DIP switches 4-6 refer to the function of the switch.
Make sure that the settings correspond to the hardware.
